MDA logoThe Media Development Authority (MDA) has been created to focus on and develop the media industry, putting Singapore at the forefront of the media age.

The MDA was formed by the merger of the Singapore Broadcasting Authority, the Films and Publications Department, and the Singapore Film Commission (SFC), on 1 Jan 2003. The setting up of MDA is in response to the convergence of different media that requires a consistent approach in developing and managing the different forms of media.
 
 
 
ABU logoThe Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) is a non-profit, non-government, professional association of broadcasting organisations, formed in 1964 to facilitate the development of broadcasting in the Asia-Pacific region and to organise co-operative activities amongst its members. It currently has over 160 members in 55 countries and regions, reaching a potential audience of about 3 billion people.

The ABU provides a forum for promoting the collective interests of television and radio broadcasters, and encourages regional and international co-operation between broadcasters,

Activities include Market Research & Intelligence Services, Representation & Mediation, Event Participation Services, Executive Networking Opportunities, Technical & Environmental Standards Reporting and Liaison. The IABM also operates Innovation Awards and Student programmes which are designed to stimulate the development of our industry on an international basis.
 
 
 
Suirg logoSUIRG is an international not-forprofit assembly of parties with representation from both the private and public sectors, organised to combat the increasing
and costly problem of satellite RF interference. The group’s membership comprises satellite operators, users, uplinkers, service providers, equipment vendors and other organisations with astake in combating radio frequency interference. SUIRG also collects interference incident data from satellite operators on its website to clearly define the specific areas that need focus to reduce the number of incidents.
