| CNBC Asia picks Ross Vision for digital news studio |

 CNBC Asia has recently invested in Ross Video's Vision QMD/X multi-definition production switcher line to enhance its news production studio in Singapore. The installation of the Vision QMD-X, with a Vision 4 control panel and Vision 3.5 chassis configuration, is expected to complete within the next two months. The 24-hour business-news channel offers nine-and-a-half hours of Asia-produced programming along with live market coverage from Europe and the US. The production switcher is expected to enhance CNBC Asia’s news workflow as it delivers news to over 400 million households. "Based on what's available in the market today, the Vision series provides the performance, functionality and flexibility that best match our streamlined production requirements," said Peter Juno, CNBC Asia Pacific’s senior vice-president, Operations and Engineering.
