| Posted: August 2011 | ||||||
Incorporating the company’s latest dynamic lamp-control system, Sony’s new VPL-HW30ES 3D home-theatre projector
aims to offer movie fans an opportunity to enjoy an “unrivalled” 3D cinematic experience, with brighter and more “stunning” 3D images.According to Sony, the dynamic lamp-control technology significantly boosts the brightness entering the shutters of 3D glasses, maximising the picture’s impact and the lamp’s efficiency. To provide for sharper and dot-free images, the full-HD VPL-HW30ES is also equipped with Sony’s high frame rate SXRD panel (1920x1080). “The launch of the VPL-HW30ES demonstrates Sony’s commitment to developing truly innovative products, which allow more people than ever to experience 3D ‘cinema-style’ in their own living room,” said Nagata Tsuyoshi, general manager of Visual Printer Marketing, Professional Solutions Company (PSAP), Sony Electronics Asia Pacific. “Built using Sony’s extensive 3D expertise, the VPL-HW30ES sets a new benchmark for discerning film enthusiasts who want the ultimate high-end home-theatre system at an affordable price level,” he added. The VPL-HW30ES is also capable of taking 2D and simulating 3D images, with the option to select parameters for 2D and 3D content and to change each setting individually to optimise each picture’s image settings, whether watching in 2D or 3D. Sony’s new 3D home-theatre projector was made available across the Asia-Pacific last month.
