Vislink picks Lumina to distribute Link, Advent and MRC
Posted: May 2009

vislink MG-9778
Vislink’s new division, combining Link Research, Advent Communications and MRC, has made Lumina Broadcast Systems its distributor in Australia. The broadcast-technology distribution company was set up by Peter Warren, who will be working with Vislink News and Entertainment to market its three brands.

Warren, who has 30 years’ experience in the broadcast industry, worked with Link wireless-camera systems in his previous job at United Group Ltd. Aside from delivering HD wireless cameras to the Australian broadcast market two years ago, his company also supported Global Television with RF (radio-frequency) systems for many high-profile projects, including the V8 Supercar Series, Test Cricket, Australian Idol and So You Think You Can Dance.

Recently, Lumina Broadcast Systems supplied Global Television with several new HD wireless-camera link systems, which were also used to cover the recent National Rugby League for broadcast on Nine Network and Fox Sports. Fox Sports will be using these HD wireless systems for the broadcast of the Australian Football League as well.
