The enhanced DIVArchive V6.3 content storage management (CSM) system is now capable of full integration with popular media industry editing and production tools including Avid Interplay, Apple Final Cut Pro, and Apple Final Cut Server. New DIVArchive features include multi-resolution object support, sub-clip partial restore, best-effort restore, advanced Avid asset search within the DIVArchive user interface, and full Unicode asset support. The DIVAdirector V4.1 is an easy-to-use and cost-effective media asset management (MAM) system that enables operators — using their Web browsers — to search, locate and retrieve stored media assets directly from their desktops. The new DIVAsolo, meanwhile, is a first-of-its-kind turnkey migration, CSM and MAM solution. The DIVAsolo system combines the company’s SAMMA Solo encoding appliance with the DIVArchive CSM solution and its DIVAdirector MAM. Front Porch Digital will also debut its DIVAsymphony, an advanced service-oriented architecture (SOA) framework for DIVArchive CSM solution. DIVAsymphony unites the complex operations of DIVArchive with the simplicity of a SOA-based architecture to yield a unified and agile approach to third-party integration. In addition, the company will debut new versions of its SAMMA family of products.
