The HyperX3.1 on-air graphics system, which is making its international debut at the show, will allow Chyron’s flagship on-air graphics system to support even faster real-time rendering, says Chyron. Ideal for live sports channels, news stations and outdoor broadcast productions, the HyperX3.1 will also enable broadcasters to bring more 3D graphics and animation to air quickly. It features seamless creation-to-playout capability, real-time 2D/3D animation, 3D stereoscopic readiness, and is equipped with Chyron’s award-winning Lyric Pro 8 advanced creation and playout software. Exhibiting with Magna Systems at booth 4L2-01, Chyron is also showcasing its newly enhanced Channel Box. The Channel Box software (v4.1) introduces a playlist-sequencer that allows single-traffic log events to play out multiple Channel Box scenes. By automating these processes and reducing the operator workload, Channel Box streamlines the workflow and saves broadcasters time in creating quality broadcast graphics. Bonnie Barclay, vice-president and chief marketing officer at Chyron, says: “Chyron remains dedicated to providing broadcast operations around the world with more flexible workflows based on our powerful, industry-leading solutions. The state-of-the-art graphics platforms we are highlighting at BroadcastAsia2011 [will] enable broadcasters to meet the demands of a highly competitive media marketplace and achieve greater production efficiency.”
