As part of the company’s ongoing commitment to provide cost-effective signal-processing and video-delivery solutions for broadcast, cable, satellite, telecom and IPTV operations around the world, Sencore is highlighting a range of products that support reliable, efficient and high-quality video delivery, system monitoring and video-over-IP transmission at BroadcastAsia2011.
With a configurable engine and multi-channel architecture, the TXS 3453 transcoder is able to perform MPEG-2 to H.264 and H.264 to MPEG-2 SD and HD transcoding, as well as transrating of MPEG-2 or H.264 streams.
On the encoding side, Sencore is offering the MRD 3187B receiver decoder, which is able to adapt to virtually any contribution, distribution or backhaul environment, says Sencore. The MRD 3187B is available in one- and two-channel configurations with a range of IP, RF and ASI input modules and video output options, and supports MPEG-2 and H.264 HD and SD video streams.
In addition, Sencore is highlighting the SMD 989 DVB-S2 modulator, a single 1RU chassis that packages two independent DVB-S2 RF transmissions, supports multi-stream satellite video delivery, economises transponder usage, and includes DVB-AS1 and IP transport stream inputs.
Sencore, together with its distributor, Village Island Asia, is also displaying its line of VideoBridge monitors and DMG 3000 series of multiplexers at booth 4G1-03.
