| Sonifex set to ignite interest with new Redboxes |
 Red will be the colour at booth 4T2-06, where broadcast audio equipment manufacturer Sonifex will be showcasing
two new offerings from its Redbox range of audio and video interfaces.Eamonn Heffernan, sales manager at Sonifex, says: “We are pleased to introduce to the Asian market this year two new additions to our expanding range of Redbox audio and video interfaces — the RB-DDA22 digital audio distribution amplifier with multiple outputs, and the RB-VHEDD8 3G/HD/SD-SDI Dolby E encoder and embedder.” The Redbox RB-DDA22 is a digital audio distribution amplifier with multiple inputs and multiple outputs, designed to accept one of five different digital inputs, amplify it and output this to 22 digital audio outputs in five different audio formats, accepting signals with sample rates in the range of 32kHz-192kHz. Meanwhile, the Redbox RB-VHEDD8 3G/HD/SD-SDI Dolby E encoder and embedder encodes eight channels of audio into two channels of an AES/EBU digital audio stream which is then embedded onto any of the available groups within each of the two video output paths. In addition to the new Redboxes, Sonifex will also showcase: the CM-CU21, a portable commentator unit designed for use in sports grounds; the RB-PD2 stereo profanity delay, a 1U 19-inch rack-mount featuring an automatic audio stretch algorithm that allows delay to be built up while on-air; and the S1 Digital/Analogue Radio Broadcast Mixer, a fixed format mixing console designed for on-air radio use.
