 Hiltron Communications, one of Europe’s major providers of satellite and
microwave communication equipment and systems, will be promoting its full range of products and services at booth 8F2-03.Hiltron’s HCS3 satcom control unit is a modular system based on a 2U chassis that can be equipped with single or dual AC/DC power supplies. The user interface comprises an optional touch-sensitive LCD display mounted on the front panel for local control. Its HMAM motorised satellite antenna mount, meanwhile, is a high-precision rotatable VSAT antenna mount for use in commercial satellite operations. In addition to a high-accuracy polarisation drive, the mount includes professional-grade drives for angle positioning and elevation. Hiltron will also highlight its recent supply of a 7.6m K-band transmit/receive antenna to Telenor, a major satellite-link service providers. The antenna forms part of a new earth station in Scandinavia. This comes on the heels of Hiltron designing, installing and implementing a VSAT network for Algeria’s state broadcaster Télédiffusion d'Algérie (TDA), with overall system control based on the Hiltron HCS3 platform.
