BroadcastAsia2010: preferred industry networking platform

SINGAPORE — BroadcastAsia2010, Asia’s leading digital multimedia and entertainment technology event to be held at Singapore Expo from June 15-18, will showcase the latest technologies, solutions and equipment for the entire value chain from content creation to delivery. Themed “Integrating Technologies, Experiencing Content”, BroadcastAsia2010 will feature new 3D and Digital Signage clusters as well as the latest digital and HD equipment and integrated workflow solutions for the broadcast, production and post-production industries.

The event will also bring together industry leaders and niche players worldwide that are keen to network and explore new revenue models and strategic partnerships.

Highlights at BroadcastAsia2010
With the race in 3D broadcasting trials and launches heating up this year, broadcasters and production companies can look forward to the latest 3D broadcast technologies, equipment and applications at BroadcastAsia’s new 3D cluster. The spotlight within the 3D cluster will focus on various Acquisition process and Streaming media platforms.

Sports, movies and gaming are genres that the industry expects will become popular in the living room and the 2010 FIFA World Cup this month will surely act as the catalyst to dramatically increase the pace of content development.

With Asia being home to top TV and audio electronics manufacturers such as Sony and Panasonic, the region is becoming a leader in 3D.

Meanwhile, with emerging markets in Asia seeing an increase in utilisation of digital signage displays, particularly in retail spaces, tourist attractions, classrooms and boardrooms, the new Digital Signage cluster will address the increasing demand for digital signage technologies, touch screens and professional display applications in the Asia-Pacific.
