At booth 4L3-01, Snell’s latest enhancements to its Channel in a Box solutions will be shown in Asia for the first time. Built on Morpheus Automation and ICE, the integrated content engine provides complete playout solutions that are designed for TV news, sports and multi-language playout. Meanwhile, Snell says that its Centra Control & Monitoring system offers a new and “radically different” approach to modern control and monitoring challenges. Centra now provides a variety of new features that aims to simplify use, and further unify control and monitoring across all media operations. In addition, Snell will showcase its award-winning Kahuna production switcher, designed to meet the ever-increasing demands of live production and incorporates “leading-age” technology for the seamless integration of SD, HD and, with Kahuna 360, 1080p. The Kahuna 360 is the new addition to the Kahuna family. It breaks the tradition of fixed M/Es, fixed resources and fixed formats, and supports many simultaneous productions that would normally require multiple switchers, says Snell.
