| never.no explains why interactive TV is about to change |
James Neufeld, product manager for Norwegian-based interactive technology provider never.no, will explain why the company thinks interactive TV is about to undergo substantial change, when he presents the topic What’s Wrong With Interactive TV and Why It’s About to Change on Wednesday, June 22, at the BroadcastAsia2011 International Conference. Neufeld’s presentation, which is part of the FutureTV –Changing Business Models conference track, will consider the whys of old and new interactive TV, as well as the use of mobile devices, tablets and social media to create a unified immersive TV experience. In addition, Neufeld will offer case studies that illustrate both the technical and conceptual aspects of next-generation interactive TV and two-screen companion applications. With research firms reporting an increasing amount of multitasking and social activity around TV, never.no believes that this is a rapidly growing trend that broadcasters and content creators cannot afford to ignore.
