PlayBox Technology says that its products power up to 9,500 playout and branding solutions worldwide, as the company welcomes visitors to booth 4S2-06 to demonstrate how its comprehensive line-up of technical innovations makes this possible.

To guarantee the successful playout of media files by its multi-channel AirBox, PlayBox Technology has launched QCBox, a quality-control solution that is able to set audio parameters that can be used by AirBox for level control.

QCBox analyses the relevant media files in a playlist, folder or selected files. Its basic tests include checking for the correct duration, continuity, blocking, and frozen and black frames, as well as audio tests, including loudness and audio levels.

Meanwhile, PlayBox Technology’s new Multi-Channel-in-a-Box solution allows the running of two or more channels per box. Multi-channel configurations are available for three products: AirBox playout, CaptureBox ingest, and TitleBox CG and interactive graphics. With the new multi-channel configurations, these products can now accept or deliver up to four channels of SD or two channels of HD video and audio within a one-box package.

Other products to be showcased by PlayBox Technology include NewsAir, a complete newsroom multi-user collaborative environment solution that manages media such as live or recorded news video content, text, photographs and live info feeds from news agencies; and TrafficBox, a cost-effective and fully integrated traffic system targeted at broadcasters who require TV business management solutions.
