| Panasonic displaying full HD 3D camcorder for 3D production |
Panasonic brings 3D to this year’s show with the display of the new AG-HMX100, “the world’s first” professional quality
, fully integrated twin-lens full HD 3D camcorder. With the AG-3DA1 camcorder, the twin lenses, camera head and a memory card recorder are integrated into a single, lightweight body. This allows for high flexibility and mobility in full HD 3D recording. The AG-3DA1 camcorder is also equipped with convergence-point adjustment and automatic horizontal and vertical displacement correction functions. The twin-lens system adopted in the optical section enables the convergence point to be adjusted, allowing the recording of 3D images with natural-looking depth. Functions for automatically correcting horizontal and vertical displacement are also provided, so that the new camcorder will automatically recalibrate without any need for external equipment, facilitating the capture of 3D image immediately. Other 3D-related products on display include the BT-3DL2550, a 25-inch professional-quality 3D LCD monitor for field use, and the AG-HMX100, a professional HD digital AV mixer for live 3D event production. Besides the 3D product line-up, visitors to the Panasonic booth 8H2-01 will get a first look at the new AG-HMC82, the professional HD shoulder-mount camcorder with DV recording, and the AG-AF100, the professional micro 4/3-inch video camcorder.
