Interra Systems, a provider of software solutions for the digital media industry, will be showcasing next-generation enhancements to its Baton file-based QC solution.

Baton is Interra’s enterprise-class, file-based QC/automated content-verification software solution that ensures media content readiness, while providing for “Any Content at Any Stage” in file-based SD, HD and mixed workflows. According to Interra, Baton is utilised in production by over 150 global customers that include broadcasters, post-production houses, and IPTV and satellite companies.

Highlights to the Baton solution enhancements include: comprehensive solution applicability across the content lifecycle, from ingest to post production, playout and archive; efficient and scalable verification for large, high-volume content across multiple platforms; increased formats support and enhanced quality checks; regulatory compliance support including EBU loudness and flashiness; efficient deployment in test-plan generation, derivation, comparison and sharing; and efficient debug for run-time viewing of content issues in Baton Media Player.
