| Etere marks BroadcastAsia2011 participation with MERP |
As part of the Italian pavilion at BroadcastAsia2011, Etere will be showcasing a range of products aiming to present comprehensive workflows for TV broadcasters and media companies, with a focus on the Etere MERP (Media Enterprise Resource Planning) solution.According to Etere, the MERP solution offers a new way to modify the entire management structure of all media and IT companies, providing a “smooth and intelligent” software-based workflow. “MERP approach is the challenge for the next era of broadcasting,” adds Fabio Gattari, president of Etere. “The need for managing and organising content in a complex multi-format and multi-delivery platform requires an efficient structure provided with an easy interface able to perform the more complex tasks; this is MERP.” The Etere suite allows broadcasters, media companies and content providers to build a flexible and scalable system to carry out their entire media production, from ingest to playout and content delivery, under a fully tapeless and paperless workflow-based digital environment. The Italian pavilion is located at booth 4G4-05. Meanwhile, Gattari will be making a presentation entitled From File Copy to Media Asset Management: How to Move into the Future on Day 4 of the BroadcastAsia2011 International Conference. Gattari’s presentation will be part of the File-based Workflow & Asset Management conference track.
