For the EditShare XStream and Energy series of shared storage systems, EditShare will be introducing the latest EditShare shared storage capabilities and offerings, including: improved project sharing for Final Cut Pro compatibility; simplified media space management; support for solid-state drives and dual-port 10Gb cards; and a new streamlined user interface.

Meanwhile, the EditShare production asset management and ingest system, the EditShare Flow, will now feature support for AVC-Intra (SDI and File Ingest) and ProRes in Flow Scan, as well as full metadata support for NLEs, including clip, sequence and marker metadata.

At booth 3B-08, EditShare will also be showcasing version 5.0 of the Geevs broadcast video server for HD/SD ingest and playout, as well as the enhanced Editshare Ark. Geevs 5.0 boasts a new user interface and sports application with multi-channel, synchronised recording and playback for up to 16 cameras, including instant playout and slow-motion replay.

The EditShare Ark, an archiving and media protection solution, now comes equipped with a partial file-restoration capability that supports virtually any codec, says EditShare. This allows users to move only a portion of their media files, whether a 20-second portion of a 10-hour piece, or several sections within the file.
