 Dalet Digital Media Systems is revamping its media asset management platform with the introduction of version 3 of DaletPlus, featuring full HD and multi-format support.
Version 3.0 Dalet solutions offer new advanced production features such as integrated CG production in the Dalet timeline; a new Dalet Dashboard for system-wide monitoring and analysis; native integration with SeaChange video servers; and new ingest technology based on cost-effective IT servers.
"The new DaletPlus version 3.0 platform is a robust media asset management application that makes complex workflows such as mixed HD and SD completely transparent for the user," said Kevin Savina, director of Product Management, Dalet SA.
Integrated powerful production tools to ingest, produce, play out and archive are packaged into four offerings — Dalet Enterprise Edition, Dalet News Suite, Dalet Media Library and Dalet Radio Suite HD — providing flexible, end-to-end editorial workflows and metadata management.
Savina said DaletPlus workflow engine is flexible enough to help users streamline their workflow.
“And because metadata is maintained throughout the entire production chain, the value of the media assets is enriched, making it easier to monetise content for new revenue streams including multi-platform distribution for mobile networks, Web and VoD, while optimising the legacy workflows,” he added.
The Dalet solutions will be introduced at 2009 NAB Show at booth SU3702.
