 Jetzlog, a cutting-edge DVB solution from Jetz Technologies, allows users to record broadcast signal in real time
as a complete multi-programme muxed stream of which it can simultaneously record and stream up to 100Mbps on ASI/IP. The data is automatically recorded into a built-in archive storage with the capacity to retain up to three days of data on the local cache.Powered by the Jetz DDI and the Postgres Database Management System, files are -allocated and retrieved for recording, transferring to storage and re-use seamlessly. Input is mirrored and logged concurrently via active and passive logging. The data-base server monitors and controls all loggers, determining the specific file to be written next, archived, quarantined and so on. It also watches over the health status of the various systems, generating warnings of problems detected. The client-side interface allows authorised users to view live streams on any channel, or review logged streams. Clips can be created from archived material and distributed through soft or hard media. The Jetzlog is ideal where the regulatory authority requires long-term recording for compliance verification or where advertisers require proof of service-level agreements.
