| Vasudevan joins Omneon as president and CEO |

SUNNYVALE, CALIFORNIA – On taking over the reins as Omneon’s new president and CEO, Suresh Vasudevan expressed optimism
on the company’s future direction. "I look forward to working with the entire Omneon team. Together, we can set out to achieve even greater growth," Vasudevan said.Prior to joining Omneon, Vasudevan served as senior vice-president of product operations for NetApp for nearly a decade. Vasudevan started his executive career at NetApp in corporate development before handling product management. As a member of the company's executive team, he led all product management and engineering for the NetApp product portfolio. Vasudevan assumed a pivotal role in NetApp’s product strategy and expanded the company’s market to include storage area network (SAN) and disk-based backup from the previous network-attached storage (NAS). Before to joining NetApp, Vasudevan worked as senior engagement manager for McKinsey & Co in New Delhi, Mumbai and Chicago. The scope of his job during this period included product marketing, operations and marketing strategy. "Suresh brings a great balance of leadership and product management knowledge to the company, and we look forward to his guiding Omneon to the next level," said Lawrence Kaplan, who acted as interim president and CEO at Omneon since May 2008. Kaplan now resumes his role as board vice-chairman following the appointment of Vasudevan to helm company’s management team.
