| APB revamps portal to serve you better |
| Posted: March 2009 | ||||||
Asia-Pacific Broadcasting (APB) has revamped its website to provide weekly news updates as well as white papers for its readers who want technical specifications of the latest products and technologies being made available to the broadcast industry. The revamped portal HYPERLINK "http://www.apb-news.com" www.apb-news.com, created by Design Prodigy, uses Web 2.0 tools, providing RSS feeds, search-the-archive function, social bookmarking and online polls. And to provide easy access to the print version of APB, the portal also displays the monthly publication in an e-book format, thereby enabling readers to browse and read the latest edition even before the print lands on their desks. “The enhanced APB portal enables us to provide more timely news, views and interviews on issues impacting the broadcast industry,” says Andrew Yeo, publisher and editorial director of the BPA-audited publication. “As in the past two decades, APB’s mission is to provide you with ‘News You Can Use’ — and now in a more timely manner.” APB welcomes your feedback and any suggestion on how it can serve you better in the brave new world of multi-platform broadcasting.
