| BBC Worldwide Channels brings Jonathan Ross to Asia |

LONDON – BBC Worldwide Channels has acquired the final series
of the multi-BAFTA award-winning chat show, The Jonathan Ross Show, for BBC Entertainment, which premiered first and exclusively in Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea and India last month.A consistent ratings hit on BBC One, the episodes will be shown on BBC Entertainment six weeks after the UK screening. Commenting on the new acquisition, Ryan Shiotani, director, Programming, BBC Worldwide Channels Asia, said: “We’re thrilled to be able to take Jonathan Ross’ unique brand of entertainment to our viewers in Asia. I’m sure that the show will prove as popular with the Asian audience as it has in the UK.” Past guests on the show included Ricky Gervais (who has appeared seven times), Ben Stiller, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Jake Gyllenhaal, Noel Gallagher, Sarah Jessica Parker, Daniel Craig, and Robert Downey Jr. The Jonathan Ross Show has been a favourite on UK screens since its launch on BBC One in the UK in 2001. The show has won numerous awards, including four BAFTAs, a British Comedy Award, Broadcast Award and the Indie Award for Best Entertainment Programme and currently records 40 shows a year. The series will end its current run in summer 2010. In Asia, BBC Entertainment is currently available in Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea and India. Captio Save
