Available now on in Malaysia on Channel 571 as part of the Astro B.yond package and Astro’s B.yond IPTV offering, Discovery HD World features a programme line-up that includes The World from Above, a unique series of aerial programmes offering views from 10,000 feet down to a just a few feet across various landscapes in Europe, Africa and the US; Ultimate Power Builders, which showcases big, ambitious and environmentally friendly projects looking to shape the Earth’s landscape for future generations; and Elizabeth 1: Killer Queen, which investigates whether one of the most controversial royal love affairs in history led to savage murder.

With the launch of Discovery HD World on Astro, Discovery now operates HD services in ten markets in the region, including Australia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam.
