SingTel AMPed has partnered with Sony Music to expand its music library. Starting last month, 150,000 tracks from Sony Music were added, increasing the AMPed re-pertoire to more than one million tracks.  The content includes popular international artistes from all genres such as Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, and regional artistes such as Wang Lee Hom (Taiwan) and 2PM (South Korea) and much more.  

SingTel said AMPed is also the first mobile operator-offered service in the world to offer customers unlimited song downloads of Taiwanese singing sensation, Jay Chou.

The telco added that AMPed is the “ultimate” interactive music service for post-paid mobile customers and is available on more than 70 3G handsets, including Apple iPhone and Android-based handsets such as Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and Samsung Galaxy S.

Customers can enjoy un-limited music downloads and entertainment news, get exclusive invites to up-close and personal events with music stars and synchronise music across multiple platforms. AMPed is also the first service in Singapore to feature DRM-Free music; customers are able to download 15 DRM-free tracks monthly to own and share.
